Fads

  This is my fad, it was 1990s. I chose that one, because I can remember, when I was child, we had a card, clothes, bags and toy with Pokemon picture. First, Pokemon was Japanese cartoon, cartoon was popular then children start play games. This is fad, because It was popular temporary, now it is not popular like that. I didn't tell in class, because somebody told before me.

I chose Muhammad Ali, because he is my idol, I am not meaning that I want to be a boxer, I respect him. Because he was an example for mankind, so he could tell his opinion to public and he always told truth. He fighted for equality, I mean he didn’t like racism.  He was from poor family, he reached everything by himself. He was diligent. I know many store about him, when I was presenting about him, I was exiting and I forgot what I want to tell. I put picture on my presentation but I didn’t describe that, I want to tell about “walk of fame”. Only person who was proud being Muslim and you can find his name “Walk of Fame” but all other celebrity’s names are on ground but he respected the “Muhammad” because of he was our prophet. He did not let government to put his name on ground he asked to hang on wall.

 I didn’t tell anecdote about he arrested, He arrested in 1966, because he refused fight in Vietnam war. He told “this is not war, America just killed people, I will not kill them”. Government just tell for “he refused because his religion not allowed to war”. But in Islam religion if you protect your country it can attend to war.

I followed him until he died, when he died I stop interesting box, too.

 Culture

    When I was in my country, I learned cultural Studies 5 years ago. Now, I learned more and Improve my knowledge about culture.

     I reminded that culture is characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, defined by everything from languages, religions, social habit, music, and etc.  Four characteristics of culture: 1. Its passed from one generation to the next.

2.Shared. 3. Symbolically.4. Adaptive. That one I understand very well, because I try to understand but I couldn’t clearly, when our teacher explained us, I got it perfect. I learned terms, but forgot very quick. Next about culture shock. I understand about culture shock, because it is all about us.
    About Culture iceberg, I understant well but I think not enough information, because I knew Formal, Technical and informal.
     Until that time I didnt pay attention to diversity movie, but when I watched "bend it like Beckham", I understant that culture is played big role in our life, it may deffect to rich our dream in some cases.
     When I made poster about my culture, and I told to my groupmates, they was interested, that time I learned culture is important in our life.I was happy that I have something to explain.

Culture of Kyrgyzstan

This is our national house, name is boz ui. It consists of wooden pieces and a felt cover.


This is our custom as wedding, but it is called "marriage of son", not about bride. It is important to groom's parents.





It is our national musical instrument, its name is comuz. it is like guitar but have only 3 strings.



I wanna tell you about our national dance and songs, our national dance is going to be popular, its

At the moment we have modern national clothes, which I wear daily time.

Chapan, it like coat, but its handmade

This is dress name is "Kyrgyz koinok". I wore that one when I was going to my husband home from my family. Not in a wedding.

   

 It is names are "Chermyi" and "Beldemchi". Beldemchi is like skirt, front is open.
