TV show "KELIN( bride) "

          I presented about TV show "Kelin" which is popular in my country at the moment. This is like "Miss beauty" competition, but important is not beauty of ladies, important is abilities. This competition has many steps, and winner should pass every steps with success. Of course, steps are very difficult for urban ladies. Because cooking traditional tastes, milking cow, cleaning chicken, and also general knowledge. Purpose of the TV show is how should brides respect mother-in-law? Mother-in-law is important person in brides life. Why I chose that one for Americanize? Because American people can't live without technology and electricity. I showed just idea, we will change somethings.

      Our is 1960s years. We had responsibility to do presentation, I found information about movies and famous person in 1960s. In team was Sky, Yu, Wu and me. I communicated with gmail, Sky did our presentation. 

        I found film “Cleopatra” was very famous, I chose Cleopatra, because later it won four Academy Awards. And second film is “The Apartment”, it is a 1960 American romantic comedy film. It  was nominated for ten Academy Awards, and won five, including Best Picture.

About person, I chose Elizabeth Taylor, she was a British-American successful actress, businesswoman, and humanitarian. She was pop star of  classical Hollywood cinema. I chose her, because she has awards and nominations, and also she was actress of film “Cleopatra”.

Summary of “International of Blues Foundation”

          Blues music is created by African American in rural south of the United Sates in the late 1800s. It is reflected the social conditions of African American peoples. It is reflected the social conditions of them. History of the blues begin in the Middle Passage which was long journey during Africans were brought to USA. They came with little expect memories of their homeland and cultural traditions. They faced many difficulties, they were sold for slave. In short, they lived bad life and they started sing song about it. 

          In 1600-1865.  Firstly, they sang oral, passed from generation to next generation the oral tradition. In 1865, the 13^th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolished slavery. They got freedom, but didn’t full equality and was discrimination. After that, more musical instruments were available to them, they started use. Songs began to focus on all aspects of life. For example; freedom, traveling, work, hope and love. etc.   The earliest form of blues was called country blues and musicians were mostly men. When musicians moved to big cities, their songs began update to urban sound.

Music

Music is an art form and cultural activity whose medium is sound organized in time.

            I want write about top40-charts.com. We have assignment pop Music Webhunt. It was very interesting for me, because I didn’t know which music popular at the moment, I don’t listen music more, just sometime I listen also when I am on the train. And also just certain music which is my favorite. When I look that website, I  found that “shape of you” is popular at the moment, I try listen and I didn’t like its meaning, meaning is like about meeting with lady, and he loved her body. Might be this is not similar with my culture, if I grew up in US, maybe I would like it. And second popular music is “that’s what I like “ Bruno Mars. That song also doesn’t have exact meaning, how I  understood, meaning like suggest to ladies to go trip with him.  I heard most of the top popular musics but I didn’t like it.   

Before I dint know that have many music genres. I learn many genres. We did assignment about genre, like everyone have one genre, mine was Punk genre.   Before I didn't hear about that one, when I looked from internet I couldn't find more information about Punk, mostly source is Punk Rock. I found less information about funk. Punk is fasting moving and loudly music. It is typically produced short or fast-paced song, hard-edged melodies and singing style, stripped-down instrumentation and often political songs.   It is form of Rock, it developed in early to mid-1970s in United State, United Kingdom and Australia. First punk was aggressively modern, dancing itself from the bombast. It is associated subculture.

I don’t like a read text, but we had a text which we should read, I read about “Same old song”, “International House of Blue Foundation” and “the history of Rap music”.  We read about history of Blues music, Blues music is about social condition of African Americans. Story of blues is beginning from Middle Passage. They had a small memory about their homeland and cultural tradition. They faced many difficulties, they lived slave.  I understood that blues music is about important part of their life.
